first off, i want to apologize i have searched the forums, most posts pertaining my issue seem to be linked to the wiki, which i believe is down.

I am having a launcher issue, from what i can understand is having an issue finding the game files.

"Sending Account id.."
"Hairpin fix applied.."
"Closing.."

I believe i have followed all the steps in the installer correctly? maybe a path issue?

any help would be very much appreciated, thank you in advance.

IIRC, that's either from not running in admin mode, or from parts of the install going wrong. I'm leaning towards the something with admin as ashita has to have admin access to alter parts of the ffxi program.

I have re-installed once again, given all programs admin permissions. I am still receiving the same issues in the same order. any information i can supply for anyone to help, please let me know.

What file can i find the directory Ashita is looking for FFXI? is it default searching c: drive? as i have FFXI installed on a secondary drive, does this matter?

i don't know if you have fixed this but ...

i had this problem on one of my pc's and it was a direct 3d error (on ashita log)

my resolution was bad i had 1900x1000 but forgot to select windowed mode , so the game was crashing (didnt even got to the point of opening the client)
