I've been really missing my old FFXI days lately, it's been 14 years since I first set foot in Vana'Diel and 6 years since I last played.
I've got a full time job and can't commit to full time playing like I used to, but I'm looking forward to starting over and spending a bit of time in FFXI again.

Hey man. I was on Ifrit as well from like 03-08 and I'm pretty sure I saw you around here and there even if we didn't talk. My character was Punishment. I'm too broke right now to play the retail servers, so I'm about to start over here for fun. Be nice to reminisce about the good old days.

Yeah that's why I wanted to give things a shot on nasomi, retail now is very different from how I remember and enjoyed the game and I can't really invest anymore into this game reasonably after the literal thousands I've put into it already lol.

Punishment sounds vaguely familiar, but its so hard to remember people clearly, although I also have tons and tons of screenshots of parties and stuff over the years, never know!

I'm currently leveling my alt, Alessya, 18WAR/MNK as of this - after getting wrecked a few times in the dunes, and once by pirates falling through the ship floor on the way from mhaura to selbina, I'm remembering how brutal this game can be, but that makes the tiniest little achievements feel like major accomplishments.

I played on ifrit myself from 03-06. Name was Spoof, mained nin and war. I remember seeing you around quite a bit back then and seeing you on the ckd boards. Let me know if you need any help getting started, name is kasion in game!

wont be able to play for a couple days, but sometime after this weekend I'll be pushing for rank 3, airship passes, etc and can always use a hand on those things!

more people to keep an eye out for - I got WAR to 31 and unlocked NIN, now working on getting that to 75 (currently 18NIN) trying all the DD/Tank/Melee jobs I didn't really play back in the day.

I'm just jumping on between work and other stuff so been playing really random hours but hopefully I'll catch everyone around.
