There was a player here named Versace and he was widely known for causing a lot of issues with a lot of people, cheating, as well as being very very poorly geared.

Yeah you might be up for some harrassment from some people at first, im sure they would believe you once they actually talk to you and because hed never make a post reintroducing himself like this lol, but you might get tired of explaining it over and over again. He eventually did get banned, hence why the name was available to use.

Id say maybe ask nas in naschat when hes back from vacation about a name change since its a banned chars name and you didnt know, instead of starting over.

What a great start... lol. Wonderful. At any rate, I'm not that person. Literally just found the server a couple of hours ago. In fact, I've never played on a ffxi private server. Last time I played was live years ago. I used to play a ton of EQ though, been on a few of those private servers. Thanks for the heads up.
