Pets give ~25% the exp they should on this server. This is terrible advice.

Pets in some zones give forgivable EXP, but I've not encountered a viable camp one would want to bother with yet.

1-14: 1st West Sarutabuta
15-20: La Theine Plateau (@17: funguars south of holla crag @Valkurm Dunes entry)
20-22: Valkurm Dunes {ship wreck snippers(H-9)}
22-24: Valkurm Dunes {snippers (F-9)}
24-25: Valkurm Dunes {snippers (F-9)}
25-30: Valkurm Dunes (free for all bloodshed)
30-31: Sauromugue Champaign (border)
31-33: Qufim Island Bat Caves (behind outpost)
33-35: Qufim Island (pugils, east of outpost)
35-37: Yuhtunga Jungle (lizards, goblin furrier, goblin smithy)
37-38: Jugner Forest (run along trail killing everything)
38-39: Battalia Downs (tigers, goblins, flies, orcs)
39-40: Sanctuary of Zi'tah (goblin smithy sector)
Carpenter's Landing (birdtraps, funguars, beetles, tigers)

Finished Beastmaster 1-75 solo+20/20 merits for job but much different kill styles.. that guide is junk now.

You will need to get White Mage and Ninja to 37. There's no way you'll get White Mage to 37 without partying, it's even hard enough to level WHM to 37 with parties.

Also, you should definitely dualbox so you can do more content and have a DPS and a support focused class. That will give you MANY more options.

Thief/Nin + Rdm/Whm would be pretty good if you don't want BST.

whm/bst is a good bst too. or just simply dual box and have fun with almost all jobs. most people want to have an alt anyway.

it's easier/faster to raise your alt now and do quests together than later repeating the same things.

Anyone here actually soloed a job all the way to 75? Sounds like incredible pain to me.

Other than bst I've taken thf to 58 and pld to 50 solo. Planning to take them 75 that way.

I am currently soloing in the Dunes and hitting 24 soon. I am going to solo EASY/DC until 30 and then switch to BST.
Enjoy the grind and collect items that sell well at the AH (or with NPCs) and get rich at the same time.

Solo'ing to 50+ without SMN or BST will take a long time ^,^/ however I can see that in your current situation that exp is better than no exp!

I don't say that it's not doable, I actually just got a level soloing dunes gobbies, it just takes forever.
Besides, if not partying then why play MMOs?
