Is the face option just random or is it the same face option as the character you chose originally?

The face and option is the same as your original. So if you're a 4A Mithra and you change to a Female Elvaan, you'll be a 4A Female Elvaan.

Keep in mind that your RSE quest progress is NOT reset, so wait to do your RSE quest until you've landed on your final race.

Otherwise, you'll have to buy it all.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to melee as a Taru. Drk MB, Monk backflip, Ninja superior wheel spam (seen them going for over 100 in CN). Everything else is hilarious, just not as much. STR is expensive and a premium, but frankly still plays a very minor role. It's the only thing not being dropped on you from bards, cors, etc. But it's still the least significant among those stats. Same equipment, your damage is down... 4... 5 from an elvaan on HNMs? Maybe you work in the sick level 62 RSE as the best item, and its instead down 2-3? Elvaan should experience significant gains in meripos or whatever.

Yes it does. My fishing is level 30, no other crafts higher than 30. Just changed race this weekend
