I was in an exp party in the jungle lastnight and we were pulling 3+ manys at a time and kept trying to use thunderspark to aoe. Only would hit the target and not any others. I had my avatar sit on the group all within 10 yalms and tried 10+ times and not once was it aoe. Then decided to use astral flow on Garuda and Ifrit and neither hit aoe. Is somethong broken with avatars and aoe skills?

What about the vertical variable? Perhaps the AOE has a very small vertical range, and depending on which Jungle camp you were at (Yhoat zone area) there could be a lot of hills to factor into the AOE equation...

Someone told me real early on that astral flow and smn aoe in general was broken and nerfed cause of mass pulling and stuff. Could be an old server myth. Come to think of it, I'm a 75 smn and have never even bothered to use astral flow to test it. What a terrible scientist.

Thunderspark on red mobs will only hit the single red mob.

Thunderspark on white mobs will aoe as normal but will ignore red mobs.
