Added them onto the command but when i log in it says "Found unknown command argument: Mypassword.

Am i missing something or is there a problem with log in servers/newly created accounts.

You didn't follow the instructions exactly.

The format is very precise.

--user yourusername --pass yourpassword

NOT --yourusername --yourpassword

NOT -- user yourusername --pass yourpassword

NOT --user yourusername -- pass yourpassword

NOT --user yourusername --yourpassword

etc.

Password obviously being my password

It was the space after my username and the --. All sorted haha. Thank you very much!

Hello! Returning legacy player here. Successfully linked my legacy account to forum account, fresh download of Ashita on new pc, followed the above login options, then no errors except "failed to connect to server" after a short time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail (do not have retail version downloaded on this computer if that helps).

*edit* I see my Ashita file path looks different than Nabutso's in the above post. Could it be causing a problem? When I edit config my file path just says .\\ffxi-bootmod\\boot.exe

Thank you for the reply. I downloaded/extracted, edited config and I can see the new looking launcher but it still disconnects me. Going to uninstall, install fresh and get the new launcher again to see if it works.

If you tried to overwrite the entire Ashita folder, windows sometimes messed it up and doesn't move all the files, so try deleting the ashita folder and then placing the new one in it's place instead.
