I'm a Jazeraine!
I started playing FFXI back in 2005ish.
My original character's name was Dakren, I was a Windurstian Hume M Monk on the Caitsith server. (Banditos! Woo!)
I bounced around a lot and changed names after the Caitsith server was shut down, I think I ended up on Siren by the time I stopped playing.
I was working on solo-grinding an Amanomurakumo, and ended up paying a group to merc me a Tsurumaru, and I realized that I was really just playing a single-player game disguised as an MMO at that point. I missed the community aspect, and just gave up. I've missed it though, and have two close friends that would give it a shot with me if it were free. I've got a copy of SpiraXI/ProjectXI on my hard drive, and was like "Hey, I wonder if it's still all cease-and-desistey or not", Googled private servers, and found you guys!
Installing now, hoping to find a fun community that does stuff and responds to Jeuno shouts for AF3 in a few months. XD
