Cannot agree enough. I see newer players complain way too much about "not getting invites" or not leveling something because they "want to get invites".

I did the same you did. Rdm without sub job lfg in dunes. 1h later i gave up and went solo. Healers without sub job are the last ones to be picked i guess.

I also began as RDM, decided to solo all the way to 15 (tedious, takes several hours to do levels 13-15 but very possible) before heading to the dunes. Upside is that one pt was enough to go all the way to 18 and get the subs. It may take a while but you will eventually get invites because sometimes there are pts without pl and even with pl most pts will get at least one mage (you may find yourself a little useless in the beginning though).

Heh, it's a good time to remind people you can see everyone server-wide that has their LFG flag up, by going on top of this page and clicking Quick Links > Party Finder.

The Quick Links have a bunch of cool Nasomian tools that every new player should get acquainted with.

As the builder of many many parties, I utilize this tool constantly. Those of you LFG should know that it's definitely worthwhile to update your search comments as it can be the difference between getting an invite or not. Especially if you're LFG on multiple jobs or have something special to note. I'm sure I'm not the only person that uses this tool, so help us pt buliders out. :)

This. The LFG tool is awesome and I definitely look at people with SEACOM updated more than those without. Grammar helps too.

This is exactly what I ended up doing. Got to 18 the first night in dunes lol. Just couldn't the first night cuz no tanks but yeah. Least there's people to pull together.

The number of people with "5+" relics can be counted on your fingers.

If you're looking for a era retail experience you won't find it here, what you have here is a nasomi experience. It's not bad, but I wouldn't say it's particularly good either. Many nostalgic aspects are very poorly worked, the endgame is more functional now but ultimately reaped and raped by exploiters and bad coding for years so the whole scene isn't balanced at all. You'll probably notice that from all the "veterans" running around with 5+ relic weapons, and a bunch of other stuff that was far easier years back.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad server, but expectations should be managed: people telling you this server is an accurate retail experience are flat-out lying to you.

Please find me, and I mean this literally, a single person that’s been here longer than a month claiming it’s an accurate retail experience.

Literally one single human.
