For years, I had this itch I was trying to scratch.

I've played many games over the years, MMOs especially, and I always kept going back to wish it was like FFXI vanilla.

I never done anything on a private server like this before. But I know current FFXI didn't interest me at all. None the least, paying a monthly fee for something i'm barely interested in.

I only installed a couple days ago, but already I'm hooked. Digging up old guides, blowing the dust off old knowledge.

I even convinced an of my old friend/linkshell members to come back, he convinced another one. One is also hooked again.

Indeed. I've been taking my time and just enjoying the grind myself. Taking time aside to get my subjobs and farm gear and whatnot. (Highest is 59, been here since this forum account was made, I have taken breaks of course). It's nice finally being able to be high enough to help others like others have helped me.

Nasomi is great! i've been playing for a little over a year and am still hooked. a lot of it is very much like i remember from retail with some differences to others. I've found the key is to go at a pace you can enjoy it at. I've known some people to rush through it all and get burned out and say it doesn't have anything else to offer.

I did not enjoy the server at first. There's a lot of little bugs that you soon get used to however, and now I'm able to look past them.
