For some reason since the update now I get fps spam when I log in each time. I'm always having to /add on unload fps. I've checked passed posts about this but nothing is working. Any advice?

Plugins and Addons
Chat log is being spammed with a failed to call event render error
-Disable your fps plugin. Type /addon unload fps. If it gives you issues every time you launch the game, navigate to ..NasomiXI\SquareEnix\Ashita\Scripts\Default.txt and remove the /addon load fps line.

Posting this for future people. Really unplayable with that spam. I just went to the folder and removed the line. Solved everything. Can also just remove the FPS folder located in the Addons folder (which is in the same place as the Default document).

Yep that's what I've done. So I guess I just type the unload every time from now on.

Go into your folder: NasomiXI\SquareEnix\Ashita\Scripts\Addons and cut the "FPS" folder, then paste it somewhere else if you are nervous to delete it. It will remove it from activating when you log in, thus removing your red chat spam and saving you from typing that every time.

I'm having the same issue but with recast. Kinda sucks because playing without timers is annoying ; ;

ok deleted fps line in the txt file. also deleted the fps folder. still getting the "addon fps failed to call event unload error /final fantasy xi/ ashita // scripts/ addons/ fps/ fps/.lua:75: attempt to index local 'f' (a nil value)'

You deleted some other stuff then because you wouldn't have it loaded if you deleted the line loading it.

ok so i went back and replaced addon folder. still spamming. so it nothing i deleted. also none of the addons load. i have to load everything once in game

No i mean.. if you deleted the line you said you did, but it still loads ingame, that means you have multiple ashita launchers and deleted it from the wrong one.
