Seems to happen a lot during gameplay. Sometimes just standing around.

Troubleshooting section mentions deleting d3d8.dll and d3d8.ini from the bootmod folder, yet those were never in the folder to begin with.

Would appreciate any help.

A d3d8.dll crash is rather generic. Try updating your graphics drivers, or rolling them back perhaps?

Is it crashing on any particular trigger? For example: opening another program?

Just having the game up and running while I was on my tablet and it would crash.

I did a fresh install and updated my drivers.

Hopefully this works.
