Well assuming we didnt have this claim issue, DRG & MNK can throw pebbles although I dont think I have EVER seen it happen cause of ammo slot stat sticks

I agree with aeroo, any job could pull with a pl. Though its a nice way to get blm more involved, I would rather blm stick to nukes. I still see blms swing their weight at krt and cape of terr. Has far as the latest claim bug. I haven't seen to many thfs with ranged lvled. Some thfs even r throwing fits so they don't have to pull. Hell I had to flash pull on pld in loO cause thf couldnt pull..

I joined 1 pt since the bug was introduced.

Was pulling as thf with capped ranged (level synced down) in LoO, with sushi and 15 racc from gear. Sometimes I had to /ra 3-5 times to pull the mob which was quite annoying.

I would strongly promote using ninjitsu to pull for now instead of wasting /ra for thfs, and can use a ranged stat item instead to increase damage.

I didn't see defense down proc once in that pt, not sure about other's experience regarding that.

I was trying to do this recently on drk @lv25-37. Marksmanship was, of course, gimped because of soloing EP mobs and level syncing down until my skill was capped. If I wanted acid bolts to proc, I would sometimes have to whiff /ra for a third or even half of the duration of the fight.

Mages need to rest.

It's funny.

With capped Marksmanship, I lvl'd DRK from 1-37 with barely swinging my weapon at all. I ate Pot-au-Feu, and spammed acid (eventually venom and bloody once acid procced) and out damaged the rest of my party practically combined. Tanked the entire time, more or less.

Marksmanship is OP in lower levels for jobs like that. Basically any job's best form of DD for the first 40~ levels is spamming crossbow bolts.

BLM will never replace bard, bard does more than just sleeps and pulling. And the only time I invite a thief is when nothing else is available and I need the slot filled (Sorry thieves <3 ). It's like a step or 2 below blm and one above PuP on my priority list. So...nice theory, glad you had fun pulling. But if I invite a BLM it's so they can blow things up.

That said, I had a few really good 4x BLM/NIN + Bard & RDM parties in CN. They absolutely melt the crawlers and flies down there. It's awesome, highly recommend trying it.
