So some time ago, like two years, I hopped on nasomi as one of the first wave of new players the server saw in a bit. There was no new shells, sure moghouse was around, but there was this really nice crafter main who wanted some friends to level his char with and he invited me and a few others to his shell ZeroGil. We went to the dunes and recruited a ton of people who had no linkshell lol. We all played together and had some good people. We had 2 thfs, 2 blms, a whm, a brd, a Sam, a rng, a pld, and a rdm. We stuck together, made Gil for each other if we needed it, our crafter made us tons of stuff. We exp'd, we all got sky together, we got cop started. Our shell was awesome and it was just a social shell. To this day, both blm are on the server, one thf, the whm, and the brd all still play. There's also others in the shell who joined later that we helped who still play as well and if I name dropped, you all would be surprised lol. But my point is, you don't need to be 75 or great gear, or devote all your time to a newbie shell. You just need a good core of 4-6 people around the same levels all accomplishing things together. Lol we even had events for LB and rank, because we all did it together. I loved it. I am sure the new people will do the same.

Even on social LS people always seem happy to help. A while ago I asked a few questions regarding g2 and someone immediately offered help. The whole thing took less than an hour.
