Is Nunyenunc bugged? I have been trying to get a Pilgrim's Wand but haven't seen it pop or anything after killing a ton of Carrion Crows

Yeah - It only spawns the first time following a reset of that server, right now.

The placeholder isn't restricted to the one mentioned in the wikis, it spawns in a much larger radius (mine popped close to Giddeus and i got Nuny to pop like 20 minutes BEFORE maintenance started). I feel people are just camping H-5 and calling bugs when it doesn't spawn. It does spawn people, just don't depend on retail information.

Don’t listen to that guy, unless you want to waste however many hours you feel like spending.

It pops once per server reset at this point, so maybe head there if you hear a maintenance is coming. It’ll pop shortly thereafter, with killing the birds in the area.

I got mine near the entrance to gideus, I don't think it was after a maintenance, but this was during time when Blu could crash zones.

It only seems to have been broken for the last few months... and I haven't checked in the last 3-4 weeks~.

Keep an eye on the world timer page on nasomi an keep an ear out for people mentioning server resets. I got my wand recently when someone mentioned W. Saruta being reset, warped out of the B Tree, OPed to W. Saruta, and widescanned to find it up north. You'll have to act fast since a lot of people want the item, but it's doable.

There are three crow placeholders. They will all fail to repop as soon as the NM is killed.

I checked 2 hours after maintenance on Thanksgiving. The server pop was 400 at the time. I checked by the entrance to Giddeus like a few people mentioned. There was one Crow spawn there, which never seemed to tun into the NM.

I had previously farmed all the crows in the northwest part of the zone for several hours. Even had my LS members come kill crows like crazy. I've only seen the retail placeholders once before at H-5. I killed it until it stopped spawning and never turned into the NM for at least 2 hours.

By the advice of people on this forum, I widened my search. I got a Chocobo, found every Carrion Crow spawn in the zone and killed those thrice over. I've never seen the NM, and I even had someone else camping him who hadn't seen him either. For now, I would ignore this NM. It doesn't seem to spawn. Unless you happen to log in IMMEDIATELY after maintenance, I wouldn't even bother to check. You are wasting your time. Which is unfortunate since this is the only option for an HMP weapon slot for a long time and HMP gear is super expensive on this server.
