Considering playing Sam/Rng...

Does Namosi have the ranger nerfs applied to it or not? Hard to know what is what on this server most of the time XD

The system of range increments (standing at X feet for "hit squarely for...") isn't implemented either, so you can stand in melee range and shoot with no penalty, and your auto-attacks will go through between your shots, generating even more TP. The auto-attack timer is not interrupted by starting a ranged attack, so you can just fire at will and don't bother.

I play ranged classes a bunch and I hope it'll be fixed one day.

Because they can't reliably hit the same numbers(Sidewinder problems). You'd be better off with Nana/Shinsoku /WAR or /NIN in 99.9% of situations.

Idk if it changed, but my sam was my 1st 75 on nasomi. I did the sam/rng blend in the 60s and pulled better numbers than gk or polearm. This was with soboro sidewinder spam.

In the 60's yeah. The comparison was whether or not SAM/RNG could compare with SAM/war or RNG @75, and the answer is a resounding no. Not because its bad, but because those two are quite possibly the top two physical DPS in this current era.

Even in the 60s, I was doing a lot more dmg with Penta Thrust vs Sidewinder. /WAR is a helluva drug.
