I'm trying gather information regarding any current fishing bugs on Nasomi. If you know or have experienced any bugs with the fishing mini-game or fishing related NPCs; please post them here and try to be as detailed as possible about what happens when the mini-game fails. I believe this will help bring light on what can and cannot be done with the current fishing system and prompt for needed changes.
Thank you,
Erina

Don't fish-up monsters on board the ship - You should be able to handle them around level ~35ish but it'll take you longer than the 30 seconds it takes for the fishing minigame to time out.

Did the bug get fixed where letting it time out freezes the game? If not, don't bother fishing until you can kill the monsters; even sneaking isn't worth it because they won't despawn when the ship lands at port, and will kill you through the floor next time you zone in
2. Crashing with monster on line and stop input with mini-game until timeout:

On occasion (not everytime): if I hook a monster and input left or right to start progressing the game, but then notice that I hooked a monster and stop inputting anything, when the cast times out, then sometimes I will be stuck and need to force close the game.
3. (Confirmed) Starting the mini-game without bait, and quickly swapping in bait and starting the mini-game again:

The only way to get locked out is to try to start fishing too quickly after starting fishing previously. That means yes, you can try to fish without bait and start the timer then equip it and try to start again before the server expects you to be able to fish again, and also if you cancel fishing and then start fishing too quickly again
4. (Confirmed) Client action/position lockout when escaping from the fishing mini-game when a monster or large fish was hooked.
5. (Confirmed) Client doesn't show the fishing state of others who are fishing.
