that's not really how that worked out re: Koopa. He wasn't "carried", beyond the initial help he got from some vets. Otherwise, he was included as a member in events from the top LS on the server (sure, maybe before a random person wouldve been allowed to join obviously.. but such is life) and earned the things he has as much as anyone else does.

as for Ninja.. I'm not sure if that's rhetorical? He can continue to stream a private server game because he is Ninja. That's why. It's literally that simple. He's the most profitable thing Twitch has, and he knows that. Sodapoppin didn't quit streaming private servers because of Twitch, he quit streaming them because WoW actually enforces their right to shut them down and him streaming them brought enough attention that they choose to do so.

I wouldn't use the worried carried either at all. Though it is more of achievement to earn your gear in a LS that does not contain already well-geared folks though. I guess Ariel is the type of person that has strict standards and looks down on a new person for joining such a LS no matter how good of a player they are.

The guy was given a millions of gil and gear he never had to spend days like the rest of us and grind for gil for days and you can see how elitist people are with their "durrr u jealous" lmao, I'm not even playing this anymore. ehh I bet he didn't want to play here at first cause his top shell buddies weren't playing this so he could leech off them to get max level easy. oh yeah thanks wolf AND he's in a top linkshell with out having to do anything now he's getting carried through endgame, wow.

To each his own, honestly if the people you enjoy playing with happen to be in an endgame LS, go right ahead. If you dont wanna spend your time working up the ladder of a ladder you already climbed 10 years ago, also fine. I do feel like you are robbing yourself of that sense of accomplishment that can only be obtained in this game by doing things that are truly challenging to those around you based off your gear/skill level/numbers. The problem is, once you step past that point, there's really no way to go back, and sadly less and less in the game feels like the accomplishment that it should be.

Hi! I was given one million gil to start on the server because I had FRIENDS that played here and still do play here. I used that gil to buy a few items and then invest in crafting for myself. My friends specifically told me that they would not fund my gil making on the server past that point. I have been self-sufficient by either farming or crafting to this point. Sure, I had a friend in TopShelf that wanted me in so that i could play with them. The only reason why this even was okay is because the friend that got me in was a trusted and member and TopShelf agreed to let me in based on a vote.

I have contributed and camped in TopShelf since the very first day I got there. If I was so hard carried and a terrible player I would have been kicked from this linkshell already because that's what this ls does. Now, if it offends you that friends help out one-another it clearly shows that you don't have any friends. Here's a thought, stop bitching on a private server forums about other people and go try making some friends. You are pathetic.
