I haven't played this in forever and I'm getting bored enough to finally come back to it.

I've seen "blue mage adjustments" and "summoner adjustments" in the patch notes. Were there any significant changes I should know about before I commit to working on these jobs? In other words, are they worth leveling?

P.S: Came across this video and really enjoyed watching it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJqf8ujfsfk

Yes.

SMN is stronger here than in retail era, so it's been gradually getting adjustments so it's more like it's retail self. BLU has been undergoing fixes because it was arguably unplayable, but it seems to be doing quite well now.

SMN has been nerfed and not in a good way imo, but I get the feeling I am in the minority with this view. The damage was scaled back to retail era so levelling is more often smn healing/hastega than using damage BP. The nerfs were to address end game issues but levelling experience is worse to me.

BLU has seen adjustments to damage and it is in a much better place and much closer to retail than it was previously. It's far more enjoyable to play now than it was a year ago.

Retail is also very fun though. So it depends what you want from ffxi.

Yeah I'm not new to Nasomi or retail, I just haven't played Nasomi in a long time because I tend to prefer retail. But this time I feel like playing oldschool.

I've seen some posts saying Summoner is super weak now, that's why I was asking. And in the patch notes Nasomi doesn't actually tell you what's adjusted for blu and smn
