I think it's a great idea, Jeuno is supposed to be a big deal but there's no one there right now except insane bazaars for gillionaires.

Also, homepointing there it would make me closer to my favourite place in the world, Kazham. :3

I never set my HP in Jeuno and still wouldn't even if there were OP warps from there. I can get anywhere quickly from my home nation now and moving to Jeuno wouldn't change anything besides lengthening my journey to Whitegate.

let's all just agree to ignore Aram's post.

Nas won't do that because then it becomes a Jeuno-to-City warp too. A Jeuno OP warper is much more reasonable and nas is even open to the idea, he just hasn't done it.

That's basically what the airship does, and it requires rank 5 or 500k gil, so I guess S-E didn't intend for that kind of transportation to be so easy.
Anyway, when I still didn't have all the important OPs I used to have my HP set to Jeuno because it's within Choco distance of virtually everywhere, now I just set it to be the HP nearest my city's teleporter and seems that many others do that as well.

People hung out in Jeuno in era because auction houses weren't linked. It's not very convenient, especially once you get a few OPs. Once Whitegate came out it became the hub you all seem to want, and SE had to add incentives to try to entice people out or punish them staying for in. Even if you had an npc to warp you to your home nation you may as well just stay there. I guess it could help people who don't know how to navigate Windurst cope by just nwver going home except to OP...

People don't go to Kazham for a variety of reasons here, including fear of gobs, mandy levels, and importantly too lazy to farm keys. Even if everyone hung out in Jeuno it would still be easier to shout for a teleport mea than to hope to find 6 people who bothered to farm keys, let alone rep anyone, when the exp isn't all that great here. Proximity to airship is not the issue.

I think back in the day OP's were way less used. Barely anyone used them when I played in the early days. Also, there's level sync with a 10 level range, allowing players to skip areas such as kazham. I haven't partied in kazham yet but i just unlocked it and went and there was no one there.

I've had many groups in the Kazham jungles in the last months, but people don't usually loiter there until there's a party ready to go.

On Nasomi, Yuhtunga mandies start at level 25 and Yhoator mandies start at level 28. Especially at 28, I've seen NIN tanks get a good beating from those dual-punching plantoids, so the jungles might be less popular because there are generally less PLDs than NINs around. At least in the 20-50 range.

yeah that's why I said "maybe, just maybe" because i highly doubt anyone would still party in Khazam that much. Especially with the level sync and/or carpenter's landing and Bibiki bay.

Worth noting: i really enjoy Kazham parties on every job but NIN.

It's a great place to go with a PL, especially.

I think I was invited to a party there just once and it was before I unlocked it so had to pass. Eventually unlocked it when I could run the supply mission but never actually partied there. I only went there twice ever since - once to unlock NIN and again to fish for GP (I was level 55 so most mobs Yuhtunga were TW).

Jeuno would only be viable if it had a moggle to teleport to all 3 starting cities, which will never happen.
