Loaded up the game vanilla, had no issues. Installed XIView and Reshade, logged back in, suddenly character models are gone..just names show up. I do not have integrated graphics as I'm running on a PC with a GPU and have dgvoodoo set up appropriately per the Reshade thread on these forums.

dgvoodoo is causing it. Most versions don't work with FFXI. Only use the specific one on the naswiki's troubleshooting page if you want to use dgvoodoo

I was using the dgvoodoo pacackaged with the reshade zip here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3568&hilit=reshade

Deleted dgvoodoo, still had issue. Deleted reshade, issue went away. Tried the ashita dx9 proxy, models came back, reshade doesnt work.


Guess I'm not able to use reshade? Unless you have a working set of files for this client/version?
