Just because it may not technically be a violation, it can cause issues... if we as a community let it go unchecked, are we not complicit?
So, I am just another in a sea of voices calling out bad behavior? If it is THAT prevalent, perhaps it is evidence of a problem?
Should we not hope for better practices in the world in which we are helping to shape?
This is incredibly naive, especially on an anonymous video game.
I've been playing here more than 3.5 years and there has literally NEVER been a better time to make money on this server. Do your research, talk to the other crafters, and find your niche.

The market will fix itself. I suggest you diversify
That is the problem.
I had found a niche, and have been running a range of items--a large part of it stuff I have been crafting.
I have over 100k of stuff currently stuck in the AH ATM because of this issue. And with the client limitations, I don't really feel like stepping through 100 items to try to correct them, only to have that one troublesome player go right behind me and pull the rug out from under me again.
What seems to be getting missed is how if these people would have just left the markets alone, their stuff would sell through in a timely fashion, just like it USUALLY DOES (and at a better price, mind you)....
That is a very important point that seems to be getting glossed over.
These are not big ticket items that take a long time to sell... but items that routinely cycle through. But individual accounts have taken over these items and essentially held them hostage atm.
It isn't me being some special snowflake, or naive... someone else alluded that I might not care about this b/c I am still in the game. Quite the contrary... I made the post because I DO care. Not just about me, but the community at large. I don't want to be that guy that goes around reporting people and creating undue headaches for Nas, as he is the arbiter of such complaints. I would rather plea to <hopefully> the better nature of our fellow players to, in the words and spirit of George Carlin's Rufus from Bill and Ted, "Be Excellent to each other... and... PARTY ON DUDES!".
Society is generally what we make it... If we are not willing to be better stewards, we have naught but ourselves to blame for the environment we get.
I dont see anything wrong with what is going on. I love and approve our current system and everything that happens within it. It is perfect.
