Some real basic things to get;

Bastok:
Welcome to Bastok - Spatha (sword)
Past Perfect - Scale Mail (body armour)
Guest of Hauteur - Targe (shield)

San d'Oria:
A Squire's Test - Spatha (sword)
The Trader in the Forest - Robe (body armour)
The Brugaire Consortium - Lauan Shield (shield)
The Pickpocket - Light Axe (1h axe)

Windurst:
Say It with Flowers - Iron Sword (sword)
To Catch a Falling Star - Fish Scale Shield (shield)
Truth, Justice, and the Onion Way! - Justice Badge (necklace)

It's definitely worth checking out what quests your city offers as your reputation rises!

Thank you! I just did the Light Axe quest last night after finding it through a link someone posted. This is exactly what I mean.
