Did they have the same issue? Im not black screening. Im getting into the new zone but no npcs load and i slowly lose connection til im kicked and get the error message. Besides, this issue started with the new launcher, how would a game reinstall help? And ive reinstalled multiple times including a complete deletion and re-download and install.

Ok so for me, this is extremely weird and aggravating.

Aggravating part
For my main character, I will zone and suddenly find myself losing packets till zero in which it gives the error, just like everyone else here.

But instead of being able to log back in it will sometimes take me up to 10 minutes of trying before I finally get in. And when I do get in, sometimes I find myself teleported inside a mountain or out at the sea. Thank god this hasn't happened to me when I didn't have a warp scroll... yet.

Weird part
My alt, has ZERO issues. NEVER happens to my second account character. Running off the same installation and settings. Even the font colors are exactly the same between them.

I don't even know where to start with this..

EDIT: The only thing I can think of is that I keep the sound muted on my alt's window using windows volume mixer. But that doesn't really stop the game from 'playing' the sound as far as I know.

EDIT 2: Well. After my last edit I turned off the sound channel on the main window as well and zoned a bunch of times. So far I haven't DC'd once.

EDIT 3: After enabling the channel I kept the in game music off. Still no crash. Turned it back on... still no crash. So I'm back to not having any ideas. The crashing has stopped for now though.

InDL, please continue to experiment and find a cause.

All I can say is that the problem is back again, and with all sound completely disabled. Still only affects my first account character.

It looks like the reinstall didn't fix the issue as I DC'd on 3 out of 5 zones earlier today. Not sure what to do now. Anyone else able to resolve the issue on their end?

Is it even an issue fixable on our end?

Since it only affects certain people, and someone "fixed it" by reinstalling (likely they did something else but don't remember what), then yes.

I also have that error,

When zoning on certain particular, I will be stuck at "Downloading data"

I tried re-installing, flushed DNS, restarted router, etc.

I cannot open the forum link above, can anyone tell me what it says?
