I'm not trying to witch hunt or throw any names out there or anything. I'm just wondering if any one has experienced the same thing as me before on Nasomi. I was in a party on NYE. The exp wasn't the greatest, but wasn't too bad. I was the WHM. No one died. No hostility in the party to speak of. Was just a normal party. Once this person leveled to I believe 30, they suspiciously disconnected and left the party to dry and we had to disband. So I see this person run by me two days later and I go to /tell them to say something about it and I find that they blocked me.

I just thought it was so weird because there was no bad blood or anything. Hell we couldn't even yell at them for doing something wrong because they logged off. I wonder if they just blocked me because they didn't want to deal with backlash, knowing what they did was wrong. I just thought it was odd with a private server. There's a limited amount of people you can do that to before you end up with no one to party with any more. Anyone experience something like this before? People are weird.

People are under no obligation to play with you, and some people prefer to avoid conflict, which they might feel pulling the cord does.

I'd personally say something and try to find a rep, but there's 1500+ people online at prime time. They're probably not going to have any trouble finding parties.

People fake DC all the time.

People real DC all the time.

People leave bad PTs all the time.

People make weird posts all the time.

People do lots of things that really dont matter at all.

They d/c'd because they only wanted to level that job to 30, and didn't feel like telling everyone they were now leaving. They blocked you to avoid awkward conversations or needing to lie to you.

It happens.

Sometimes people are assholes. Sometimes peopel DC for real. I remember the names of people who make a habbit out of it.

A lot of people do that, even people I'd never expect to do it... pretty common names in the community.

Get used to it. and get used to being the one blocked/ignored if you complain and aren't part of the posse. One time a guy did that, then came back much later and the leader actually kicked someone to bring him back into the party. That's how high-end Linkshells work.
