Hello, I just got my Hornetneedle and was playing around with it. It's only giving 47 (4.7) TP? I remember SE instituting a "TP Floor" where all weapons gave at minimum 50 (5) TP regardless of the delay; this greatly improved the usability of certain daggers.

Is this not implemented on Nasomi? I thought this had gone live sometime during CoP on retail, so I assumed it would be live on Nasomi. Or perhaps I am remembering this completely wrong? This is certainly possible, it's been a long time. Or maybe it was changed back after I stopped playing?

As it is, is this weapon still considered a good off-hand for THF, and if so for what lvl range?

Any information would be appreciated, thank you.

TP floor was changed fairly early on from 5.0 to a different formula with a theoretical floor of something like 3.5 TP per hit for 0 delay weapon. Hornetneedle is still a good offhand weapon and Sirocco is one of the best when it can be equipped.

I see. :( So not as strong as I thought, but still strong, heh.

Well, thank you for the reply. What are considered better off-hand daggers other than Sirrocco?

Since as far as I know, puks don't act up when hit with wind dmg on Nasomi, I have had my SK glued to my thfs offhand since I got it.
The only scenario I would swap it out would be for Thf knife while mainhanding mandau or for a ridill in some scenarios where the accuracy loss is not a factor
