I think everyone that buys gil should take a moment to realize what risks they're taking.

Sure you know you're going to lose your account.

But....

Someone made a post begging for a warning for first offense.... I disagree, and I sincerely urge others to not express any sympathy or empathy for these violations. Nasomi knows what he's doing. He's kept this thing going for a long time, and his work is making nice strides lately. I thanked him when I first signed up for his server, like 4 years ago, and I thank him now for doing what it takes to keep it going.

If you like this game, or this server, please don't buy gil.... No matter what you think you'll gain, you're risking far more.

Nasomi also explained why the Zero Tolerance policy. He USED to give out warnings and jail people, but even resetting them back to lvl1 didn't deter anything...they would just level up again and do the same offenses.

He does not want to spend any more time than is necessary policing the server so he can focus more of his time DEVELOPING the server with updates, fixes, and new content.

I kind of wish there was someone else he could trust with the policing aspect. This person could do the investigation work and file a report with Nas, who would ultimately approve or deny the prosecutor's accusations. Nabutso for RMT Slayer!

Nas is the only person who should be responsible for dealing with moderation issue like this. What he needs is someone who can do the dirty work of recovering lost items, fixing broken quests for people, etc. That way the good, who have legitimate issues that simply need personal attention, don't have to wait for nas to deal with the bad.
