I wouldnt get and dont restart on a server where you can get a perma jail for nothing or beeing unaware of as beginner.

I always have friends, who I don't know their name, don't play with them in game, never even talked to them or said hello to them in game, and only interacted with their bank mule(what the heck is a bank mule?) where they give me free gil.

1700+ online right now don't have a problem, including me. There has to be something you did that caused nas to set his eyes on you. I'm pretty sure it wasn't random.

Buying gil is not something you can be unaware of as being against the rules.

During installation you are told to read the rules.
During account creation you are told to read the rules.
During game login you accept to play by the rules.

Every day for the past few weeks nas has had to post about RMT ingame getting you jailed. He has posts on his FB and on the announcements section, which shows on the mainpage, too.

Let me guess: you're RMT too.

I don't care about my character anymore, this is about a man with a god complex and his worshipers completely missing the point. You play on a server where at any moment you can be falsely imprisoned because the lord Nasomi -thinks- you're up to no good. You don't even get proven guilty, and everyone just accepts it blindly.

And to top it all off, you have to wait 3 days to even know what you did because the god figure is too busy trying to do everything at once and ultimately doing everything terribly. How's the moderating and development going? Let me tell you, not good when you're jailing people without evidence and your jank ass server doesn't have mailboxes, purple mob names, using traded items without zoning, etc.

Again, show me I'm guilty and I'll take my comeuppance, but so far all you've shown is that I was given gil. That's definitely not against the rules. Yet.

You can see from our point of view how this looks like a pre-orchestrated exchange, particularly when you say something very unpersonal like "directed to meet them on voice chat". Rather than something I'd expect like "I was talking to my mate on discord and he said meet my mule" or whatever when you've said that this is a friend from another game. What doubly seems to be make this suspicious is if you spend about 15 secs on google, the most prominent seller does just that, directs you to their discord. (One hope's this is one of the seller's that's been banned.)

If you're unfamiliar with this game, or how it was "back in the day", then you wont really have a concept of how hated RMT were and how their actions effected the economy of the game. If you did, you might have some concept of why people are very willing to throw shit at anyone implicated in the trade. If that isn't enough context for why you're taking the flack you are, you are also personally attacking a person who provides a server and experience we can't enjoy anywhere else. Insulting someone who has given a lot of people a positive experience is never going to go well.
