Most of the time its to knock a second off of Utsusemi: Ni cast, which is actually a pretty big optimization on a 45 second recast spell that saves your life. I wouldnt put it in the same bag as a dalm +1 or other whitebox items that are purely luxury and trophy items.

Well yeah, its a DPS increase over Snipers +1s if you're ACC capped, but Id say its more used as a recast timer macro piece, since thats always useful, whereas it being used over snipers is situational I believe.

TIL people didn't realize Blitz Ring was really useful for some jobs. I definitely used it a lot on DRK on retail. Especially with a relic, you're almost always accuracy capped. It's good for DRG too for the same reason.

The best BCNMs for early level profit imo on Nasomi server have been Petrifying Pair, and Die by the sword.
There is also the BCNM 20 that requires 2x bst and a healer mage that drops Astral rings.

Can look up many other FFXI related content on the internet for info on these BCNMs. Party set ups etc.
