Has anyone noticed even more of a nerf in fishing? I barely seem to be making 30-35k a hour now. And for people saying I make 50-60k a hour. Actually start a stopwatch for 60 min and fish. When people said they made 100k a hour a few months back, i was barely making 60k a hour and if i was lucky with some extra mythril swords i got 72k.

Down side for us fishers was that we have to put in over 80+ hours to get to lvl 76+ fishing to even start, now it seems on par with every other type of farming methods.

tons of "nothing" that cuts the profits by a lot , add some mob that u dont fish , random rusty item and u waste tons of time not gaining anything.

lvl 90 and still fishing nothing x5 in a row is infuriating

there is no "nerf" i guess.... the "nerf" is that prices are rising , what costed 300k 1-2months ago is now 600k , so 10h fishing to buy it instead of 5. If u are chasing one of those ugh....

Yeah I'm 96 fishing and it's pretty common to get nothing 4--5 times in a row, followed by a rusty then a monster. But I have had some pretty good streaks. Had a 7 black sole streak earlier today in Sauromugue Champaign

a few months ago before the first fishing nerf you were actually able to catch a lot of black sole, now it seems like you can barely get 3 stacks a hour, realistically 2.5 stacks

Damn, so you mean now we need to actually be creative and not just abuse the easy fishing levels and NPC prices to make money? I can't just follow the herd and do what everyone else does and be rich as hell?

What is this, an MMO?

Maybe the black sole population is declining due to over fishing.

I dont feel any difference, ive been averaging around 45k an hour today.

My fishing skill is 29 but shows 58 under craft skills. I could have sworn this displayed correctly previously but my memory isn't what it used to be. Has this always been a thing?

edit: Hit 30 and now it shows 30

Whenever you get a skill up it'll raise your skill by 1 in the crafting skill menu until you do a gear blink or zone.

once again, start a stop watch for 1 hour and see exactly how much you catch.
