Good morning, I seem to be having a problem logging into the game.

I installed the client from the Downloads page (The direct link one). I also downloaded the new launcher and completely erased the old launcher to put the new launcher in. When I launch the Ashita launcher and try to login I get "Failed to login. Invalid username / password".

I have tried the following to see if I can resolve the issue on my own:

* Rebooted.
* Tried logging in with my Game and Forum accounts.
* Run everything as Admin.
* Allowed it through my firewall.
* Turned off my firewall.
* Reset my password (I mean I could have messed that up so why not try it lol).

I'm not sure what I should do and sorry if I have posted in the wrong area, I wasn't sure where to post. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Show me a screenshot of your account page and also of your boot.exe while logging in but failing.

Okay I have made the screenshots you have requested, I'm unsure how to send you a message with them. I thought if I clicked your profile I would be able to directly send you a message with the pictures but I don't see it, I might just be missing it. The login username is exactly what I wanted to see, but you omitted it.

Can you try a shorter password? You can make a password that's longer than what boot.exe will accept.

Also, try using autologin as per issue #1 on the troubleshooting page on the wiki.

I'm sorry the account name is <omitted>, on the instructions it said to make a different account name from your forum name so I wanted to make sure I followed it. As for the password I did see on the forums that some people were having problems with symbols in their passwords in the past so I removed them and shortened my password and tried to login. I get the error as you saw before in the boot screenshot. Also I am looking at the wiki now to find the auto login issue you are referring too, thanks for helping me out with this!

And I followed the instructions to setup auto login and I'm basically getting the same issue. Is their a max character limit on the password? I used 20 on my password, I will shrink it even more and see if that helps.

AH HA! That was it I reduced it down to 13 and it let me in, the password was too long. Thank you so much for the help!
