Left side + Hume Male chocolate to Brutus in Upper Jueno (G-7) gives chocobo whistle

Was fusing chocolate in Windurst Walls. I eventually got a Charm Wand after getting a few heart chocolates and roughly half a dozen normal crystals. I then equipped the Charm Wand and continued to trade in Windurst Walls, and eventually got a Charm Wand +1 from the festival moogle. At that point, no NPC will fuse chocolate for me. Guess I'm not getting a whistle or red eyes...

How to obtain the event items...

1) Buy the Rare/Ex chocolate piece from a Festive Moogle
2) Acquire the non-rare/ex chocolate piece that corresponds with it, usually the same race opposite gender, or mithra / galka otherwise

Chocobo Whistle
1) do not acquire the charm wand +1 it's currently glitched
2) trade both pieces to Brutus in UJ or almost any npc in LJ

Redeyes
1) trade to npcs in Tavnazian Stronghold

Charm Wand
1) trade both pieces to NPCs in Festive Moogle zones to acquire combined chocolate
2) trade combined piece to Festive Moogle, this will give you random reward... change to be charm and

Charm Wand +1
1) same as Charm Wand, probably with Charm Wand +1 equipped?

Has anyone tried dropping their Charm Wand +1 to get access to the whistle?

Not gonna lie.... pretty dissappointed with the event, unless Nasomi was trolling by saying we can get really good items from the event.

I don't plan on doing this event.. Items look boring / waste of space.

Confirmed redeyes from Nivorajean in Tavnazian Safehold and chocobo whistle from Brutus in Upper Jueno.

Neither charm wand, charm wand+1 or redeyes work, atleast as of 2 weeks ago when I tried. Chocobo whistle works, bear in mind 20 charges only. Sad that it's same prizes again, and yes, Nas trolling again. BIG announcement was Valentines event? wow, come on old man, still got xmas lights up in towns.

Dropping the Charm Wand+1 DOES allow you to get chocobo whistle, confirmed by 2 people in Jeuno last night.

However, I'm unsure if you can reacquire the +1 version of the wand yet.
