Came across this issue a couple weeks ago but neglected to post it. Curious if others have experienced it. While fishing in Oldton Movalpolos, my chat log begins to malfunction after hooking a monster. Essentially, no new messages pop up regarding fishing, crafting, battle, JAs, etc. It even persists through zoning.

Speech commands such as /say /l /sh /t still function, but nothing else appears in chat log making it challenging to do much. Only a relog will fix the issue, until I catch another monster while fishing...

It shouldn't be related to fishing a monster. It happens if you drop items in zones with broken timers. Should be fine after maint?

I tested again and you're right about dropping items triggering it. However it is still an issue currently.
