Pretty sure I figured out the auto-hp thing, it's a simple situation that you can easily avoid and make sure you're not in before you die

but I tested it, when I put myself in the situation and killed myself on a level 1 job, I auto-hped 6 times in a row, then when I eliminated the issue, I died normally 9 times in a row

Unless Nas has introduced a new and different bug causing auto homepointing, then it should be 100% possible utilizing git to walk through the changes and figure out how DSP fixed it and give him most of the solution for fixing it here.

Even if we are to believe his code is 90% different (it's not), the underlying bug can potentially be resolved with a similar solution in DSP. I'm going to give Nas the benefit of the doubt though. I strongly believe he is already taking revisions to the DSP and implementing them when able to or when the fix is fairly seamless. This probably was on his radar and he potentially has already tried it and it didn't work or felt that he couldn't figure out how to make it work for his server.

i, for one, can't wait to play on the private server ya'll create that gets 1000+ people online at 11 AM on a Wednesday.

this has been my Q&A question for the last few streams and it's always the same answer "different code blabla" when the packets are the same and DSP found out what they do.

Funny since it's a server side issue and nothing you can do will actually impact whether or not it happens.

I have never auto hp'ed. Must have to do with destroying crafting markets.
