It's important to say this: at optimal range, your ranged weapons are STRONGER and MORE ACCURATE than before, but at suboptimal, yes, they are WEAKER, and LESS ACCURATE.

It is not a straight-up nerf to ranged. It makes it potentially more interesting and stronger if you take the effort to aim for optimal ranges

rofl @ rng change. He said it wasn't the distance nerfs... which could charitably be described as disingenuous.... but is more just a lie.

This is straight BS you said you werent introducing this BS yalm nerf thanks for killing Rng. All the money and work i put into Rng is dead now because of this.

so i'm guessing the range nerfs will also affect THF, which will make us even more undesirable to party with. Hopefully the melee delay fix will help us out some.

Maybe it's confirmation bias, but it definitely feels like i'm hitting quite a bit faster / more with the melee delay change so much so that it more than makes up for the ranged dmg I lost.

After a few tests (very few take with a full shaker of salt) the dmg difference between my ranged attacks (arbalest + venom bolts) is about 12.5% from a medium distance shot to point blank.

This is a overall nerf because no one will lvl with rng now because they will do very poor damage because Rng cant stay at optimal Range because they are always pulling threat. The other issue is we were straight lied to he said he is NOT adding the Yalm nerf.
