It is a nerf though, likely a massive one, especially for well-geared rngs. To pretend otherwise is sugar-coating it at best, lying at worst. This was one of the things I really respected nas for, not having this sweet spot BS, that SE shouldn't have done imo, oh well. :/

but Zaeon if you spend time and stand at exactly the right spot, you can ACTUALLY BE MORE POWERFUL For a very short moment in time before that is no longer the right spot and you have to go find it again.

did you consider this before correctly realizing it's a nerf?

I love how everyone has been asking for weeks about if the RNG changes were the range damage nerfs, or if the fishing changes were fatigue. And both nasomi and nab said that they weren't, but in reality they 100% were, love the blatant lying to the community.

RNG distance change was one of the biggest nerfs SE ever did.

RNG distance is 100% a nerf.

Interested to see how much more damage the optimal spot is, but I highly doubt it makes up for all the horse shit about being a distance ranger again.

It would be nice if the fishing change had a bit more explanation.
Is the 'drying up' per person or per zone?

According to the fb it's per person, just move 5' and you're good to go again.

Doubtful you'll get an answer, at best Nas will say "try to figure it out! THATS THE FUN IN IT"

Then we'll test for weeks then come to a conclusion, come to Nas who will say "no its not that way at all!" and 2 years later will admit on stream "ah ya I forgot I commented out some code, should be fixed now!"

What about area's that don't have space? EX: Fafnir/nidhog spot where you fish off the tiny ledge while waiting 30mins between windows?

Prolly get fucked.

Oh, indeed! I can totally be more powerful for those few precious seconds before I pull hate, draw the mob to me and no longer be able to do damage worth a damn. :|

SE's RNG change set the max damage to be obtainable at a very specific range, with the max damage post-nerf to be equal to the max damage pre-nerf.

Nas's RNG change sets the max damage to be obtainable at a very specific range, but the max damage post-nerf is higher than the max damage pre-nerf. You can get your full RNG damage from pre-patch in a wider range than you did in retail, and you can do even more in the sweet spot.

The fishing changes aren't fatigue. Fatigue in retail refers to you only being able to catch a specific # of fish a day. You can still catch as many fish as you want on nasomi. You just can't literally stay in one spot for 24 hrs with a bot and fish infinitely until you're caught. If you aren't botting, you probably won't even notice the fishing changes, and when you do notice that you aren't catching stuff, you can just.. you know, move a bit and suddenly you're fine. It's not fatigue.
