I dismissed nothing. I told the ONE RANGER in this thread who posted numbers to report it as a bug because it is NOT performing the way it is supposed to.

Tex, you can see yourself in that PM that you were unsure of what was going on yourself. I said that when you, or anyone, does, that you can report it. What's wrong with that?

Your PM is also insanely misleading. That conversation was months before there were -any- plans to change RNG. You're being manipulative.

The majority of posters in this thread are entitled to the nth degree and need to get the fuck over it. No amount of complaining is gonna revert it back to the way it was so have some respect for the dude who's providing you this content for free. Like Nab said, go test out how acc and damage varies per range, compile it into a thread of some sort where others can contribute and have an actual discussion about. Also try going outside for a walk or hitting the gym or something. You guys need some other type of release for all this pent up nerd rage. Cheers!

My comment about "doing 50% damage" is in comparison to melee damage. Melee damage with Francisca and Hawker dagger (whatever it is) was always around less than 50% of range attack. I shoot for 300 at proper range. Then shoot at melee range for 200. Then when the mob is in range, I melee'd for 200 damage combined. Yes the math was a little wrong but still true that the drop off is ridiculous. I should have said 60%.

Also, why are we getting nerfs when there is a clear problem with Bullet ammo delay not adding to Gun TP attacks?

Man, I just don't understand why y'all make such a fuss over this, keep baring your fangs at the technical support guy, I'm sure it will make everything better.

The server will keep changing and there'll be many other nerfs, bugs and "accidental features" for years to come.

If something like this drives you over the edge, you might just need a little break from the game.

You know what would have been nice? A heads up that these changes are coming so that we could gather data then compare. Rather than being lied to about what the changes were then say "go test and compare". Compare with WHAT? Nobody has parse info, and I doubt anyone took screenshots of their damage to compare to. Even if people say "it FELT like it hit harder before" you would just retort with "well maybe you remember WRONG" and its he said she said.

Overall just a shitty way to deploy a huge change.
