Get what your saying, what you dont understand though is that Nas specifically said he would never implement this RNG change. for many of us on this thread we felt this exact pain when retail did this and killed RNG. No one was mad at RNG damage, and it was close to SAMs dmg anyway, and its not as if other jobs couldn't compete. Now instead of balancing he killed an entire class. Not to mention every time you shoot its your hard earned gil.

As a BST, it always felt over powered. The {Reward} was always too good.

The RNG nerf is just a straight nerf. No one can really tell if it is better if you are in the "sweet spot". RNG wasn't really the most powerful job. It had a bit of a benefit of doing better damage on flying things (what we nearly all fight against) but you consumed arrows/bolts/bullets.

I'd like to imagine like a previous poster, if ALL jobs had some type of distance effect with monster/party members. No one would play this game. THF and BRD alone are tough as is with their positioning requirements.

BST vs RNG nerf isnt even comparable.

Its not like RNG were mercing PW or other stupidly high level endgame shit.

in the end , RNG is less fun , more fustrating to play with , that change doesnt bring anything good to this server imho.

same goes for sneak/invis nerf, i remember the "wearing off" after 1min , and IT SUCKED , SE changed that years later because it didnt make sense , and it was retarded to begin with , a 7 flat invis / sneak didnt break the game on this server, there are few ppl , so zones are packed of mobs , hell some places have way more mobs than retail (giants in qufim island is a good example).

Ownm / autohp are well received changes.

Partied in Qufim as Ranger last night. I did not notice a significant increase in damage using a great bow at any distance while trying to figure out the sweet spot. The worst part was I kept pulling the mob away from my party members. It was not fun, my party members were a bit annoyed it kept running away from them (especially the SA Thief) and ultimately we didn't end up partying too long.

@Nas pretty much the entire player base doesn't like this update can we please roll it back?
