I've seen relentless whining about changes that have been made over the past few months. It's very apparent most of you never started playing FFXI when it was released. There were numerous changes over the years and the player base dealt with it by adapting.

Remember when Tiamat was released? I do and we never saw a flying mob before so we had to adapt. Nin/drk became a tank because players figured out it's beastmode.

All these changes are Nasomi accurate meaning he's gonna change what he wants to change when he wants to change it. Be like Bill bellichick when new rules come out. Don't bitch and moan, just adapt.

For all of you saying RNG is dead, you couldn't be more wrong. I personally love this new update and I've spoke to a few RNG in LS who agree. For all of you who are complaining about merits never heard of a RNG burn before... Try it sometime, it's epic. Simply adapt and overcome. This server is way easy mode compared to ANYTHING retail. Get over it.

The RNG in your LS are retarded if they think this is a good change, and you should encourage them to level new jobs because RNG isn't for them.

As for RNG Burn merits, you're right. They were awesome. This nerf directly impacts that. If you think they are still awesome, it means you weren't taking part in awesome ones prior.

Unless you mean a worm PT, then RNG burns were probably nerfed harder than anything, because aggro in those parties is more wishy-washy than any others.

But I hate Bill Belichick.

Anyway I mostly agree with Maseki. Nas usually implements a patch and it has problems. We have to give feedback and wait for additional adjustments. If you've been here for a couple of years you'll know what I mean. There's always a patch, then a stage 2, sometimes even a stage 3 patch before it gets to where it feels both in line with what Nasomi wants and somewhat retail accurate.

Magic accuracy was the best example I can think of for this. I'm pretty sure it had five or six different revisions over the years, but right now it feels pretty good -- I think we can all agree.

It does - Except there's really no way to make yalm distance influence the ranged formula without being a massive nerf to some part of the game for RNG. People will survive. They'll level other jobs. It just makes RNG fairly useless for LS's with the flexibility to use other jobs, and that's a shame because it used to be a fun job.

Maseki acts like people are quitting, or predicting a mass suicide or something. All they said was that Nas ruined a previously fun job, and Nas/Nab lied about it while he did it. That's all true. Sorry if that bothers someone to correctly talk about the situation.

Again I find it amusing because our RNG had absolutely no problem with damage last night in dynamis beac. Aside of the misses which will surely be addressed in time. Damage overall was still solid. My post was addressed to those within 1day saying the sky is falling.

While we're at it.. pot-au-feu and akamochi aren't this era. Interesting I see not a soul speaking of "it's not era accurate".
