He definitely used to ban people for this. Unless he has had a major change of heart and is willing to tell us in writing, I would definitely avoid "sharing your account" with your "wife."

He certainly misspoke during this stream. He probably gave nabutso a headache from making him shake his head so hard. There have been many many many people banned for account sharing on this server. I'm not quite sure why he would've said that. Sometimes nasomi gets lost in his thoughts I think. It's clear by the questions he chooses to answer that he is not really outlining these streams for himself beforehand so its all just stream of consciousness. I would not take that one random comment as a pass to start account sharing or you could end up a sad puppy.

He also talked in that stream about the 20M price tag to unlock an extra mule slot. I don't really see why he would implement this 20M/slot thing if you could simply have tons of forum accounts.

I have not heard the part where he says it's not a bannable offense but I re-state my question. Why would he allow account sharing if he plans to take time to implement a system where you can buy a mule slot for 20M? Why would DW buy 5 mule slots and have to re-lvl all crafts to 100 if he can effectively just use the accounts that already have 100 crafts on it?

Not disputing that he may have said that in stream, just saying that common sense would suggest that the 3 character limit is still athing.

I always assumed sharing accounts wasn't a bannable offense, but controlling more than two characters at a time is... and any rule breaking on any of the characters is shared with any characters that have ever logged into common IP's.

Oh yeah, my "wife," "son," and "Daughter" all started here and quit a few weeks later. Im now leveling all 8 crafts and just following the rules, sharing accounts, never playing more than 2 out of the cities and 3rd in town, but if any of "them" cheat, I'll rightfully get banned.

Oh yeah, and Ill have 4x the inventory space! Time to have more "kids."

And my "3 friends" left me 3 pld, 3 bards, and 3 rdms that I leave camped at Tia, 3 at jorm, and 3 in aery; just depending on what my LS needs. Just better not log in more than 2 at any time!

If you're logging into the accounts on different machines, who's to say your wife, son, daughter, dog, and gardener even quit in the first place...for all we know, they still play. Although, sometimes the dog and gardener alternate using the same laptop.
