Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that Maseki is choosing to focus on how RNGs can adapt and have adapted to HNM and special endgame situations that have little to no applicability to exp grinding. Can we get someone who is more engaged with that part of the game to talk about gearsets and an alternative meta so that we're not reproducing the same "BLMs [RNGs] have shitty mACC [rACC]" prejudice? I have 9+ mil of gear on my 63RNG, and another 10+ m of very low viscosity gil (on my main) that I'm willing to put into some gear changes. Maybe I'm missing something in my absence. I already have a full raven set from my RDM 50/60cap equipment, but I'm not in the mood to sit in the game for hours picking my nose with my invite flag up, nor do I want to beg to lv65 and then pay to leech Bubu until I finesse the exp grind. I have many other things to do outside of this nostalgia festival that are far more rewarding than that, and I'm seeing every indication that the new meta-meta is that it is going to take the same level of complaining from last year for Nasomi to understand that RNG is where BLM was when it desperately needed a fix.

Are we ready to talk about details? Or is the meta another vague and nebulous "adapt"? Because I'm adapting just fine, but I hear that my LS friends want me to come back.

Iirc enmity was all fucked up for awhile when he made those BST changes. I bet it hit NIN harder than PLD though that’s just speculation on my part. Whatever was borked back then does seem to have been fixed since then.

Why? Our rangers have fared fine so far on sea jailers and dynamis thus far. Haven’t had a chance to test in any HNM’s but initial returns are actually promising now that he fixed ammo tp. Our relic RNG has been having a blast with his new 5 hit.

He generally sits on his throne thinking were all retarded and dont know what's wrong with his server, so generally it takes trends and actual statistics to change his mind. And when the same questions get asked over and over every stream, is nas really that wrong?

My RNG was doing 150 less Slug Shot damage to Jailer of Love under the same conditions post update. I haven't gotten the chance to shoot at Cerb/Khim yet but I bet the damage fall off is even worse. Not to mention the fact that you still have absolutely shit for accuracy within 4 yalms.
