Sharing accounts has the effect of sharing punishment across all players that shared the account, even if sharing itself is not an offense.

Just keep that in mind, when you trust someone with your hundreds of hours of play.

I was thinking about the shared effect punishment and I'm really curious how the bans on that work, as more of random thought than anything else.

If you have a situation where Player B shares his account with player A and Player C, Player C shares his account with Player B and D, Player D shares his account with Player C and E, Player E shares his account with player D and F, and then Player B cheats, who gets banned?

Is it A, B, C? Or is it everyone?

B & D accounts were both influenced by the cheater's IP so those two at the very minimum are gone. A & C accessed the account(B) that was banned, so they'd probly get banned also.

I think you mean B, C in your first statement, but I see what you mean.
