Today I was asked to bring an Argute Belt to the Alchemy guild for guild points, which is apparently an out-of-era rare/ex item. After doing some digging I found that the daily guild points matched the Mokuto katana. I traded the Mokuto and received the entire 4320 guild points for a single item.

Another one: Silver Earring shows up as requesting Beetle Earring +1. The correct number of guild points were given for turning one in. (this one was trickier because it shares the same points as brass axe).
