I believe that's up to that group deciding if it's worth staying. It's not my dream world, I just think we should stand 120 deep in DA and beat each other off for 5 hours. That doesn't mean I don't possess the common sense necessary to envision a world that worked better, if every LS suddenly weren't petulant children on a video game (myself included).

i think pop items should be enabled for this exact reason but also i know that the nature of the server is to relive the naughts era FFXI as close as possible

that being said we still have exceptions to rules like OWNMs, etc

i don't think it is fair to demand nasomi make pop items work as a band-aid fix until he can address the lag issue in it's entirety, and i'm not expecting that, but i don't think it is entirely unreasonable to request this either.

that being said i see a lot of opinions and felt like voicing mine, and also mine stands firmly as someone that alarm clocked ground kings in era is that they are pretty much the only thing i actually hated in the game.

Whoever is saying we should have pop items, go to retail. How great would it be to get an EBOD from easymode nidhogg? I assume you think you'll never get an item from him because you're not willing to work for it. Anyone getting an item in the current system would have to beat a lot of odds, making the item that much sweeter.

People who got items when the server was new, had an advantage to a smaller population but they're usually players who are the best of the best anyways. No reason to act as if low pop has a bunch of noobs running around in insane godly gear and you can't get the gear because "too hard lulz"
