Hello All, I’ve recently just joined the server and I’m out in the Gustaverg levelling, but I just can’t hit anyone? The auto attack very rarely works I’m just stood weapon drawn and won’t hit? I can cast spells fine but I’ll literally just stand there and won’t attempt a hit like it’s not recognising I’m in a fight? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Thats an old ffxi feature. You have to "see" the mob. Even if you look like your staring at it, your char seems to not "see" the mob lol. You can try to hit the * key when engaged and it will reface you to hopefully "see" the mob better.

Our recent accomplishments

This sounds like more of a Nasomi feature than a FFXI one. Especially when it comes to even slight elevation differences between the player and a target, but also just seemingly random. For whatever reason it's incredibly bad on this server and probably one of the more annoying bugs currently plaguing the server that comes to mind.
