Yep. I've got my priority system, and I suspect I'm not the only one with THF one step above BLM at the tail end of it. Hard truth of the matter is there are 8 jobs that do what Thief does better than Thief does it. And anything lower than rank 3 at 40+ is a hard pass. Law of averages. Having played this game since 2004, I've seen far more bad players that are rank 2, than I have clueless and hopelessly undergeared players at rank 6. If I have to hedge my bets, at 60+ I'm inviting the players that are rank 5 or higher.

So...if I've gone through my priority list to get to thief, made everyone in my pt beg their LS for anything that isn't a Thief, and all I see seeking is a level 60 rank 2 thief, I'm either moving on to BLM, throwing a Paladin a pity invite, or waiting until something higher on the priority list pops up.

For what it's worth, I think it's mostly because you are a THF. There are just so many. And to be honest, it's almost a silly joke by now when I look at the Nasomi party seeker on the website and there are 6 THFs in a row all LFP.

That being said, you can always make your own party - that way no one owes you anything.

Additionally, you really gotta avoid all these super-egos who come onto this forum just to start shit. There are a few people on this forum who only have one goal: tell you how bad you are compared to them. In the end, they just make themselves look lonely and sad. Inb4 they start digging through my posts just to find that I'm a nobody so they can flame me below.

This game really brings out the worst in a lot of us. It's hyper competitive and some people don't have an ounce of forgiveness in their bones. Combine that with the forced community aspect (leveling mostly) and the fact that we work really hard to get to where we are and you've got a perfect storm of saltiness.

Anyways... Just make your own PT. If you don't want to make a PT, complaining on the forum is only going to bring out the gilded masses to flame you. Again, sorry man. It's the plight of the THF.
