These guys have chat filters and window logs mixed up.

Chat filters still reset, something been broken on tgat for ages. I had a guy tell me he was workin on a way to fix it a few years ago then he disappeared, maybe banned idk. He was playing with the registry directories trying to find a way to make it stick.

All they're doing here is splitting the log window into 2 windows, then filtering log data for each window. It's a semi work around but doesn't do nearly the same as chat filters would.

Wow that sucks. I know that the chat windows being split does help a little, but the combat log just zooms past you, making you miss things like stuff that you can dispell, or some one getting a debuff that needs erase and so on.

It's not just a nasomi thing it's a private server in general thing. As far as I know there hasn't been any attempt at coding a pull request for chat filters to be saved in any local or server memory. People on other private servers have used some addons and such to work around it, but those will apparently get u banned on nasomi. I don't know of any work around that's ever been successful at saving them on nasomi. Honestly the ammount of work that would be needed to implement the functionality isn't worth the effort when we can get semi results with just adjusting the window logs. Now if he were to build an addon for ashita that serves the same purpose, that would be a much more elementary and faster solution.
