Sorry if this has already been mentioned but how about you just pay him 1.5m from your main...? Maybe im weird but my main holds most of my gil (about 2 mil most of the time since im a pleb) while my alt typically holds a few hundred thousand. Anyone with 1.5m on their mule has to be able to scrounge together 1.5m on their main? Get him paid and this all goes away...kinda.

so what happened?

Communication is key in a situation where something like this happens. If I was Kores and I owed someone money like that and was having connection problems to the game I would be damn sure I messaged him through whatever means I could to update him on the issue, take screenshots of my problem and assure once it was fixed I would pay him. You reached out to Nas via PM to get the issue fixed but didn't say a word to the player that you promised to pay and then mysteriously lost connection and got stuck in your MH?

My main takeaway here has been that Tex/Dom is a stand up dude and a trustworthy mercenary should I ever need paid help with something. That initial post is laid out crazy well. Great documentation!

Dominate is a real standup guy and fantastic player. Glad to have him as a friend. Kores still has a chance to make this right if they so choose.

All this over a simple joytoy. Sorry you got shafted Dominate, in our few run ins together you've been a solid guy.

Kores a general rule of thumb: when you're going to buy an item at a merc you should have the gil on you. You got lucky he was trusting. You knew the window loooooong ahead of time, if you didn't have your alt available to log in you should've spoken up and said you didn't have the gil. There's really no excuses here.

I think Kores is simply waiting for things to die down, the thread to disappear, give it a few weeks or a month then log back in and act like nothing ever happened. I know he said "well my rep is ruined guess ill just quit" but in my experience people who go away usually just go away, they don't continue to log into forums and reply saying that they're going away.
