It really doesn't matter what is going on, if anything is even going on, unless Nasomi chooses to share it himself. If he were to shut down the server tomorrow with 0 explanation that's his business. Be grateful for the time you got here and move on. We have no say in what he does or doesn't do. As has been stated already, if you really care, ask. You might receive an answer, you might not. Either way, threads like this serve no constructive purpose.

Where should we meet?

You don't even need to look at that graph to know there's been a huge drop in player pop the last 4 months or so. We peaked at 1700 ish online during prime time, to what 1300 ish these days?

Yea I guess the only answer any of us can give you is we hope not. As nabutso/epyon ( ) says, just enjoy it each day you get to. The rng change did bring about quite a bit of negativity and it's very sad that he essentially destroyed a job that wasn't really very overpowered. I do know a few who left because of it, or left because the change itself created doubt about the owners new vision of the server. This was a majorly unpopular change in retail just like it was here. People came here for the classic FFXI. And that change just isn't. I hope he will fix this mistake one day, but I doubt he ever will.

While Nas being MIA for a bit might contribute to the server decline, I think a more likely cause is Ninja...the server went through a major spike when he joined and was talking about getting SE to do a classic ffxi server. We went from like 1600'ish active to 2k active at peak and he was streaming almost daily then disappeared stopped streaming as much and was playing offline for a while. I don't know the last time I saw him online. There was also the ranger changes, I know a few people who were ranger mains who literally quit after.

Probably multiple factors here and not just a single cause. I don't think calling him out on the forums will force a response but eh, you do you.

Everything is fine, it only takes 5 days and counting, to get the only "GM" of the server to unstuck you, when unstuck and warp has no effect.

If everyone could just calm down, everything is fine. We have no need for some form of "GM" or a replacement for what Nabutso did, Nasomi is handling everything just fine, please wait 1-2weeks, and he may or may not address your issue.

Nasomi is busy ok... There is RMT to ban, oh wait, MMOOK spam is still in Sandy and in bastok now, god forbid you meme it in linkshell chat... That gets you jailed within the hour!
