I'm not looking to stir up a witch hunt here but I wanted to warn other people who might be caught unaware. The linkshell Troll on this server is NOT an inclusive space for LGBTQQ+ people, they do not want you and you do not want them. Just stay away, Chocoboy and Killerkyo are the worst of them.

IMO, no one is expecting an inclusive/"safe" space space but the bare minimum is dignity for other people. This place doesn't even have that.

If you want a kick ass inclusive LS I'll hook you up with a great social.

I mean its one thing if they are making passive remarks and that makes you uncomfortable. Find a linkshell that doesn't make you feel that way.

But it is distinctly against the rules to disclose such IRL information anyway so I fail to see how this is a personal attack unless someone is breaking the rules.

I think this is the 1 "rule" not a single person follows. It's a social game, after all.

Bro, I swear to you, no one in the linkshell was "coming out" and sharing IRL information to this linkshell lmao. Again, my expectations are super fucking low - not expecting a safe space, just not an actively hostile one. After a series of really awkward conversations about LGBT people & a bunch of people (including the linkshell leader) throwing around gay/trans slurs, I asked what was with all the hate - and got an honest answer. They don't want queer people in the shell, thus the warning. I think this is pretty reasonable.

While others have pointed out a LS named Troll and your interaction there is other factors people haven't brought up. At the moment this is a he said she said (with just your side atm) with what was brought up that was anti LGBTQ. For all we know they could be responding to what you have said. Some people are against indoctrination of sexuality for kids be it LGBTQ or heterosexual. In fact it has become a meme that LGBTQ should become LGBTQP (with P being pedophiles). No I'm not accusing you of being one of those people I'm just pointing out we lack the context for providing judgement on the situation.

And something like require more then just snippets of contextualized text of seemingly bad comments. As they can be sarcastic responses or quotes from other people. On top of that we would also have to have wait for the other party to defend themselves. Otherwise one accusation and false narratives could ruin one's reputation.

I rather not have this server become ruined by outrage culture.
